Fluid thinking: Recognising that water is one of the key elements of life, Earth Tech's experience in management, treatment and distribution of water is vast. From the water supply transmission systems are essential for moving water from the source to the point of treatment, to the location of storage and then on to the consumer. Earth Tech have been involved in all facets of water transmission, from regional bulk transfer supply schemes through to urban distribution mains and remote rural supplies, and asset management programmes throughout whole water regions.
Entire town supply and distribution systems can be hydraulically modelled in order to determine existing problems and develop solutions for our clients.
Resource Management: Earth Tech has many years experience in the design and construction of water treatment plants for raw waters of varying characteristics. Plants have ranged in size from small units serving isolated villages to projects as large as 400 Ml/d within the regulatory guidelines set by the national & international bodies. All of our proposals require the use of products and processes (where appropriate) approved under the terms and regulations. Treatments include ozonation and filtration through granular activated carbon, as well as systems to deal with pesticides, herbicides, nitrates, nitrogen and phosphates.
