Energy from Waste: An Independent Service
Earth Tech has total capability in Energy from Waste and provides both Turnkey and Consultancy services to waste management contractors, waste authorities, turnkey contractors, developers and financial institutions.
We are independent of any technology providers in the sector, and so are therefore selective in our partnering agreements for different projects, as well as being able to offer independent advice in our consultancy commissions.
Turnkey: small and large-scale
Earth Tech's portfolio of Energy from Waste/Incineration projects is extensive and wide-ranging, and includes facilities for the thermal treatment of clinical, municipal and sewage sludge waste streams.
In addition to our involvement in the more traditional medium and large-scale plants, Earth Tech has developed a particular capability in the thermal treatment of municipal waste streams of less than 100,000 tonnes per year, as well as having involvement in around one-third of all the UK's sewage sludge incinerator installations.
Earth Tech provides complete turnkey/design & build solutions, but is equally amenable to contributing discrete components, (such as civil and building works) either under a sub-contract arrangement or as a Joint Venture partner.
Consultancy: the right advice
Earth Tech can provide consultancy services at all stages of the waste management projects, from feasibility, through planning approval and IPPC permitting, technical specification and contract agreement, commissioning and final performance guarantee testing.
We are also often called upon for operational "troubleshooting" and plant improvements, due diligence reporting for plant condition/operating performance, expert witness reporting etc. and have recently carried out research into the environmental performance on all the UK's sewage sludge incinerator installations.
